Since their youth company took over the Barbican with A Nite With Da Bratz (read review) last weekend, there’s only been a few day’s hiatus between shows for Boy Blue Entertainment as part of their Shades of Blue residency.
Interview with Boy Blue Entertainment about Over The Edge
The Barbican nor Boy Blue are giving much away about Over the Edge to keep fans in suspense (if you’ve ever been to a Boy Blue show, it does leave you wondering).
Unlike Pied Piper, Over the Edge isn’t based upon a classical text but an original concept.
Over the Edge draws inspiration from magazines, from gossip to fashion, bringing the page to the stage.
Will it mean Boy Blue can bag another Olivier Award? Maybe, but the only choice they’re giving us is to wait and see the show for ourselves!
Stevie Stewart of the Michael Clark Company is in charge of costume, while Mike Gunning, who has an extensive resumé for theatre and opera is directing lighting, to really help the show come alive.
