Boy Blue are taking over the Barbican for a fortnight with Shades of Blue, and their first event is a descent of Boy Blue junior dancers, age 9-18 years old, known as Da Bratz.
Those who saw runs of Boy Blue’s Pied Piper may recognise some of the dancers in the cast as the Piper’s rescued children.
Aptly titled A Nite with the Bratz, the two-day run of Boy Blue’s latest production since Pied Piper last December features choreography from the next generation of Boy Blue Dancers, Victoria ‘Skytilz’ Mantey, Simone ‘Flex’ Wilson and Bruno ‘Boom’ Perrier. It also measures up at an impressive 85 minutes (including the interval) profiling what will be the streetdancers of the future reared in the Boy Blue Camp.

A Nite with the Bratz will precede Boy Blue’s next feature length production Over The Edge which runs from 21-25 July.
