The Lyrix Organix year is drawing to an end as it holds its last event of 2010 at its adopted home the Old Queen’s Head in Islington tomorrow night.

To date every single Lyrix Organix we’ve been to has been a fantastic evening of soulful entertainment, and while we were absent from the Lyrix Organix Rich Mix show, the line up this month will make up for what we missed.

Its been a big year for Lyrix Organix: Besides the Old Queen’s Head they’ve also done gigs at Brighton Fringe, Graffik and Rising Styles, while last month they recently took over Rich Mix for a night of music, spoken word and graffiti.

One act we already relate to this month is multitasking beatboxer cum musician Vid Warren, who we’ve seen perform at the Ritzy in Brixton.

Also on the line up is hip hop folk group The Leano and poet and writer E Emato.

Rounding up the essence in true Lyrix style, the acoustic act and recent signee to Polydor Records is Michael Kiwanuka. Currently touring with Paulo Nutini, he’s been compared to Otis Redding and Bill Withers in his style and is sure to put on a musical performance deserving of an encore (if the management will allow it!).

As Lyrix Organix is also a non profit organisation, the cause they’re raising money for on behalf of Medecins sans Frontiers is for the benefit of the July Pakistan flood victims.

As we said before, Lyrix Organix nights are never to be missed because their eclectic and original mix of performances, and tomorrow’s show is no difference.
