Evoke
Evoke is a writer, spoken word artist and workshop facilitator who has performed at open mic’ events, music gigs and conferences across the UK in venues such as the Bernie Grant Arts Centre and the Drum. Affiliated with the New October Poets, Evoke has collaborated with some of Birmingham’s finest and in 2008 he worked with Black Country Touring and Apples and Snakes to co-write and perform Things That Can’t be Said as part of the R:evolve project. Earlier this year, Evoke was commissioned by the NHS and wrote and directed his first short film, Revolving Door.
