We would like to wish a happy birthday to The Place, which is turning 40 this month! They’re celebrating with free dance sessions over the weekend with their aptly named Taste The Place classes to introduce people to dance.
Yes, free. Most of the classes don’t require any previous dance experience, and they’re led by some of the best dancers in their respective fields.

Registration takes place at 5.30pm, so while the classes are hip hop, make sure your punctuality isn’t!

If you want to expand your repertoire beyond urban styles, Global Flavours also takes place over the two days where you can get associated with styles such as Egyptian, Capoeira and even barn dance, or even take part in Dads and Lads, for families.
