Coming soon: DMC DJ Championships World Final 2010 at KOKO
The DMC DJ Championships is in its 26 year this weekend where the best DJs will be crowned World Supremes at Koko after a series of scratching, cutting and turntablism skills to prove their worth in front of the world’s best DJs.
Jeppa emerged as UK DMC Final Champion in July, placing him next to the finest who qualified in the worldwide heats, with Deceptakut contending for the World Supreme title.
Besides the battles, the action will be broken up with several showcases including female MC Yarah Bravo and a presentation by 2009 World Champion DJ Shiftee of The Golden Years, taking his gold turntables back in time tracing the DMC’s history.
One showcase to watch will be Reeps One having a beatboxing battle with French DJ, Eklips.The biggest appearance is sure to be Grand Wizzard Theodore of the Furious Five, accredited with inventing the record scratch, who will be presenting a showcase of… scratching.
